I too failed to read any fine print if there was any. I dont even drink coffee.

I thought it was just a $1 sample & i was gonna send the sample to my daughter who loves coffee & whom I seldom get to see. I didnt realize another box would be coming! As a contractor, I strictly budget my 'iffy' income. Because I closely monitor my account, I found the 68.75 charge to my account.

Thankfully, I had not opened the package yet! I called and spoke to a nice woman named Lisa. Here are the instructions: Send back the unopened package boxes. Write REFUSED-RETURNED on the boxes & drop in your mailbox or at the post office.

I have marked & returned the $1 package unopened & the $68.75 package unopened Unfortunately, I will only receive a 58.80 refund. I only live 50 miles from Amora & I wanted to take the boxes there personally for a full refund but she said I can't. Lesson learned. I'm going to be out $10 bux & I'll never order something like this again.

I hope & pray they refund my money!!

And ALSO cancle ANY amora account which apparently I have inadvertantly, unwittingly, & unwillingly created. I do not want any more packages or anymore charges!

I have been trying for over a month to get a refund for coffee I asked not to be sent. They sent it anyhow and I was told to just return it and the refund was being processed.

Three different dates I was told refund was issued, still no refund. I'm writing a letter to the founders and cancelling my subscription.

Worse experience ever.... They sent me a box of 4 package of coffee that I have not ordered...

I have sent them several emails but they do not answer... I have called, the lady told me that my account has been cancelled but I have not received any email with the cancellation...

I have been charge $68 for this coffee that I do not even like it.... It is horrible!!!

contrary to these other customers I have had a wonderful response from the Amora representative. He was very kind and understanding and even offered to reimburse me for the overdraft they caused on my account.

If I could afford the coffee I would never cancel my account.

Same thing happened to me except it was a 75 charge and there was no writing on the flyer I received that said it was a subscription. I told that to the person I spoke with and he just said is there anything else I can help you with..

Report them to the Federal Trade Commission. According to the FTC, you do not have to pay for anything you are shipped that you didn't order.

Also report them to the Post Office.

Using the US Postal service to fraudulently ship unordered product is a felony and the fines are up to $16K per incident. If enough people report them, they will have to stop!

I have also received coffee I didnโ€™t order & charged $68.75! I am furious!

I do not recommend this company to absolutely ANYONE! They scam you out of money by not being clear as to what happens next.

I had the same experience. I never ordered the coffee only the sample.

I never gave them my PayPal account. All these people have been scammed I live on Social Security They took 68.75 out on the 16thOct and on the 17th another 68.75.

I noticed a charge online so called them to let them know I had no subscription with them & that it was an unauthorized charge that will not go thru. She wouldn't listen and stated that a box was going out. I told her I would refuse as the charge was not approved.

I'm having problems with Amora Coffee. I also was charged $68.75 for coffee I don't want--I wanted the sample for $1.00.

Then I find $68.75 charged to my debit card. I called the company and was told the coffee was already shipped.

Unfortunately, I just opened the box and don't know if I will be able to get any refund. Amora Coffee is a HORRIBLE, DECEPTIVE company.

Amora coffee is shameless. They charge before even notifying customers.

They bury the membership subscription information within their teasing come on "Free" isn't even free, they charged me 1 cent for the initial bag, and have made it impossible to cancel the shipment that is allegedly on its way. You would think with as many complaints this company gets they would change their tactics.

I CALLEDAMORA COFFEE OVER TWO WEEKS AGO AND EXPLAINED NICELY THAT MY HUSBAND IS LAYED OFF RIGHT NOW AND I COULD NOT AFORD THE COFFEE UNTIL HE WAS BACK WORKING.THE NICE LADY ON THE PHONE SAID THAT SHE WOULD PUT MY IMFORMATION IN MY ACCOUNT. ALSO THEY WOULD CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE LAST SHIPMENT I HAD SENT BACK OVER TWO WEEKS BEFORE MY PHONE CALL.

I HAVE AN ACCOUNT NUMBER AND EVERYTHING MY HUSBAND WAS NICE ENOUGHT TO PRINT OUT FOR ME. How do you prevent them for shipping you another product without ordering? How do i cancel my Amira account. Help!

Unfortunately, they do put in very fine print that you will be charged for a second shipment in two weeks. If you want to keep the cheap coffee you can.

First, you need to cancel IMMEDIATELY. Second, I would report my form of payment card IMMEDIATELY as lost or stolen. That will cancel any incoming charges to that card number. If it is a Bank issued Debit Card many banks will print you a new card on the spot.

If it is a credit card it will take 7-14 days to replace. That is an aggravation but it is the only way you can be sure that no additional charges will come in. These "if you don't cancel the purchase we will ASSUME that you want us to continue shipping product" companies are scandalous. If you want to GUARANTEE no further charges cancel the payment card.

If you try to stop payment there will be a charge of $15 or so and no guarantee that a charge will not be processed. I know this from experience. My bank will not do a "Stop Payment" based on a Companies name. it is based on an amount.

So if you pay for a stop payment on a $68.50 charge for example all the company has to do is change the amount to $69 and the charge will go through. I had this happen with a large insurance company. I made a stop payment for $51 and all they did was change it to $52 and it went through. I ended up having to cancel my card anyway and get a new one reissued and I had to go through major brain damage with this large insurance company to get a refund and it took six weeks before i got their refund check.

ALWAYS read what you are signing.

NO COMPANY is offering a bag of coffee for $1 with no further obligation on your part. They are a "for profit" company.

Yes entirely correct outline.

I would like to note Amora DID refund my money - except for a $9.80 'shipping' fee.

I returned 2 unopened packages: the $1 package & the $69 package. I received credit reimbusment within 6 days.

Another big clue that an online purchase IS legitimate is that you typically get an clear, concise invoice email immediately upon ordering anything & another one as soon as it ships, etc.

And always included on this is clear instructions on how to cancel or return an order.

Amora doesn't do this and the only way to cancel is 'verbally' by phone. And they do not give you a cancellation reference number or anything. I asked for the lady I spoke to if she could at least give me her name. She was super nice to me & helpful & have me clear directions on how to get the refund.

She gave me her name but when I followed up the call 3 days later the lady who answered saud there was no one there by the name. This second lady also assured me of the refund. We had a holiday during that particular week so the credit was delayed a day because the bank was closed.

I hope the Amora company will discontinue their vague method of operation. Scammers are a dime a dozen.

Vagurey is a form of scamming. Real value & esteem is obtainable thru clarity & honest practices. Also, if you are the company involved in scanning & vague business dealings, beware - for you never know who you are offending. It could be someone with very high connections & a very protective father .

ANY WAY ITS NICE TO HEAR FEED BACK FROM SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE AND THEIR INPUT ABOUT THESE SITUATIONS..THE THING THAT UPSETS ME AND IS SO RIDICULOUS IN THESE CASES OF REFUNDS/CANCELATIONS TO COSTOMERS IS NO ONE DISERVERS TO GO THROUGH SUCH A BIG COMPLICATED COMPLEX PROCEDURE, CAN IT REALLY BE THAT HARD?

IT SICKENS ME HOW THIS BUSINESS WORKS, LIKE A BAIT AND SWITCH. YES I DID CHANGE MY ENTIRE CREDIT CARD FOR A BRAND NEW ONE, NOW IF I HAVE TO DO THIS 3 MORE TIMES THATS CROSSING THE LINE. I JUST GOT A NEW CC A DAY AFTER MY FIRST 1$ PURCHASE ITS SCARY THEY KNOW MY NEW CC NUMBER. IF THEY DIDINT CANCEL LIKE I TOLD OVER THE PHONE AND GET A NEW CC DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE TO KEEP WORRING IF THEY KEEP CHARGING ME?..

I ALSO READ THERES A 35$ CANCELLATION FEE? BOY THIS COMPANY IS FILTY RICH!!!!
